A b o u t m e
My name is Alexandru Adochitei, and I have been a naval electro-technical officer for over a decade.
I chose to become an ETO out of a desire to travel, experience the world, and see different perspectives. Another aspect was the financial benefit, which offered me a greater opportunity to choose and surprise my loved ones. That feeling when you come home and bring something to those waiting for you is absolutely fascinating.
I started from scratch, as I had no interaction with electricity until then. I faced many difficulties in learning because I encountered superiors who, out of fear of being replaced, chose to keep all the knowledge to themselves.
This forced me to be self-taught and go through many trials and errors from which I learned. Eventually, I became an important player in any company I collaborated with.
Since then, I decided not to repeat this flawed pattern with my future students and focused on helping them understand how electrical installations work and how to make their work easier and more enjoyable.
I have helped dozens of students with different backgrounds, from those who were on a ship for the first time to those with several voyages already.
Regardless of their starting knowledge level, my goal was to help them become confident and capable of handling challenges on board.
By working with them, they were able to progress and achieve desired promotions, from cadet to assistant electrician to electro-technical officer. Results varied, but all were trained to handle any situation and confidently identify faults, leading to their promotion.
Are you tired of being stuck in the same position? Make them throw promotions at you and propel yourself to the role of ETO (Electro-Technical Officer).
